1. Changing your mind — catalogue purchases

• As an EU consumer you may withdraw from a catalogue purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason.
• To do so, email no-reply@localhost with your order number within the 14 days.
• The bottle must come back unopened, with its seal and label intact, in the condition you received it. Wine is fragile and light- and heat-sensitive; please store it cool and ship it in the original packaging where possible.
• Return shipping is arranged as follows: [who pays return shipping and how it is arranged — to be confirmed].
• We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery, to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the bottle back (or proof of sending).

2. Auction purchases

Whether the statutory withdrawal right extends to saleroom (auction) purchases is [to be confirmed with legal advice before launch]. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed lots (section 3) always apply.

3. Damaged, faulty, or misdescribed bottles

• If a bottle arrives damaged, or is not the bottle we described, contact us at no-reply@localhost as soon as you reasonably can. Photographs of the bottle and packaging help us resolve it quickly.
• Because each bottle is unique we cannot send a replacement — we will refund you in full, including delivery.
• This does not affect your statutory rights.

4. How refunds are paid

• All refunds go back to the payment method you paid with, through Stripe.
• If a payment ever succeeds but we cannot allocate your bottle (for example, a rare checkout conflict), we refund you automatically and tell you — you do not need to ask.
